3D BIM
Kelly, Wright & Associates endeavors to be at the leading edge of technology. We have implemented a 3-D HVAC drafting standard for all new projects. We have joined with an internet-based company to create three dimensional smart blocks for use with AutoCAD MEP. We are also competent in the use of Autodesk Revit. Through diligent training and the use of these tools, we can provide 3-D HVAC documentation, collision detection and Building Information Modeling (BIM) on a cost-competitive basis. As the technology for 3-D piping design progresses, we envision doing the complete plumbing and fire protection design work in 3-D to better coordinate with the other disciplines.
